Kate has been part of Darling’s Insurance Agency since the merger but is no stranger to the Darling’s family — she previously worked in sales for Honda, Nissan, and Volvo. Her first vehicle was a 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and today she drives a 2020 Toyota Corolla.
Her favorite vehicles are Volvos, which she describes as some of the safest and most reliable cars on the road. After having sold them in the past, she continues to stand behind the brand and even calls the 2025 Volvo XC60 her dream car.
Kate says the best part of working at Darling’s is the culture and the people — her supportive team makes even the tough days easier. Outside of work, she’s a traveler at heart who loves Maine summers and visits her favorite island, Aruba, every year to escape the winter chill.
