Darling's Agency was established in April of 2007 as an independent agent representing a wide variety of Personal, Commercial, Health, and Life Insurance companies.
Darling's Agency is located in the same building as the Darling's Corporate Office at 96 Parkway South, Brewer, ME 04412. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the state we strive to differentiate ourselves from the competition by providing a more cutomer focused experience with better hours, better service, better agents, and an intense devotion to detail. As part of the Darling's family of businesses we share the same Vision and Goals that has made Darling's the priemer company in Maine.

Laurel Wentworth-Roach
Agency Manager
Laurel Wentworth-Roach is the manager of the Darling's Agency. She began her career as a receptionist at a local agency in the mid 1980's, moving quickly into the commercial lines department where she worked extensively in the Bangor market. Laurel obtained her Property and Casualty license in 1996 and, after working on the agency side for 12 years, made the move to work for a large national commercial carrier in marketing and sales.
Laurel graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with an Associates Degree in accounting and is currently working towards her Certified Insurance Counselor designation. She is an active member of the Insurance Professionals of Eastern Maine where she was awarded the Insurance Professional of the Year Award in 1999 and again in 2006. In 2009, she obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and her Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations.
As a Maine native, Laurel grew up in Washington County and has resided the last 20 years in Bangor. She has three children, Stephanie is in the Maine Air National Guard and a full time student at Husson College, Lauren is employed at EMMC and Robert attends Bangor High School.

Karen Bennett
Karen Bennett joined the Darling's Agency in September 2008. She began her insurance career in Lincoln, Maine for a local independent insurance agency. Karen obtained her insurance license in 1997 and her ACSR certificate in 1999. She strives to provide the very best in customer service and takes pride in the quality of her work.
Karen is a native of Maine, born and raised in Lincoln and relocated to the Bangor area in 2004. She resides with her husband Dean and their Pomeranian, Riley and their Pekingese, Dakota. She has a stepson William and a daughter-in-law Jessica who reside in southern Maine.

Kristen Keith
Kristen Keith has worked in the insurance industry since March of 1998. Before joining the Darling's Agency in the fall of 2007, she began her career at an independent agency in Bangor where she obtained her license and worked in the personal lines department. Then, in 2003, she went to work for a direct writer, also in Bangor. She has obtained her ACSR designation and is halfway through her AAI designation.
Kristen resides in Levant with her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Kelsey and Logan.

Elisa Paylor
Elisa Paylor joined the Darling's Agency in 2008 and focuses primarily on health, life and commercial insurance. She began her insurance career more than 5 years ago, starting out as a receptionist at an agency and then quickly moving up to a commercial producer there. Elisa obtained her property and casualty license in 2003, attended the National Alliance's Producer School in June of 2005, and completed her CIC designation in 2006.
She graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and is also an active member of NAIW-Central Maine and Kennebec Networkers (a chapter of BNI), as well as several other community service organizations.

Mark Simon
Mark Simon has been in the customer service / sales industry for the past 22 years and, after obtaining his Property and Casualty license in 2008, he joined the personal lines department of the Darling's Agency in September of 2009. Mark grew up in Millinocket but has lived in the Bangor / Brewer area since 1986. He has a 10-year-old son and is very active in youth sports, coaching football, baseball and whatever else he can do to help local youth enjoy sports as much as he did growing up.
Mark prides himself in taking care of and in meeting and exceeding the expectations of his customers.

Judie Tardiff
Judie Tardiff, AAI, CPIW joined the Darlings Agency in February 2011.
Judie has been in the insurance business since 1979 and has been serving clients in the Penobscot, Hancock, Washington and Waldo County regions since 1989. She has held her Accredited Adviser in Insurance designation since 1993. In her new position, Judie will continue to offer all lines of business insurance but will now also be able to offer employee benefits and personal lines insurance to her clients.
Judie lives in Ellsworth with her husband, Randy and is active in the Ellsworth Noontime Rotary Club, the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce and Xi Alpha Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International, where she currently serves as president.
