Ron Francis  Ron Francis earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Husson College in 1980 while also serving in the National Guard. He worked as a Staff Accountant in the private sector for about three years before coming to work at Darling's as a Staff Accountant in 1984. After five years he was promoted to Accounting Manager and then in 1990 he was promoted to his current position as Controller. He received his Resident Producer license for Property and Casualty in 2006 and now assists in the overall management of the Darling's Agency. A Maine native, Ron grew up in Belfast and has lived in Hampden for the past 15 years with his wife Julie. He has three children. His daughter Diana is employed at the University of Maine in Orono where his middle child, Ryan, is currently enrolled in the engineering program. His youngest son, Christopher, is a freshman at Hampden Academy. Ron is very active with the Boy Scouts of America and is an Assistant Scout Master. He is very proud that his son Ryan is an Eagle Scout and his youngest son, Christopher, will complete his Eagle Scout requirements this year. Ron is also active with the Masonic Lodge and is a member of Mystic Lodge #65 in Hampden. In his free time Ron enjoys woodworking and traveling. His most notable trips have been fishing in Alaska. But, most of all Ron enjoys spending quality time with his family. ron.francis@darlings.com Laurel Wentworth Agency Manager In 2009, she obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and her Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations. Tammi York  Tammi York joined the Darling's Agency shortly after the agency's opening in May 2007. She began her insurance career in Augusta in 2000, working for an independent insurance agency. She obtained her Property and Casualty producer's license in 2003 and has an extensive background in personal lines as well as having general commercial lines experience. Tammi prides herself on the quality of service that she provides to her clients and is a member of International Professional Insurance Women. She resides in Newport with her husband and two daughters. tammi.york@darlings.com Heather Kirkbride  Heather Kirkbride's primary responsibility for the Darling's Agency is personal lines sales and service. She holds both Property and Casualty and Life and Health producer licenses from the State of Maine. She has served on the Board of Directors for The Aroostook County Action Program. Heather is a native of Penobscot County and has lived in Aroostook County and in Canada as well. She currently resides in Hermon with her husband and their two children. heather.kirkbride@darlings.com Kristen Keith Elisa Paylor Mark Simon Mark prides himself in taking care of and in meeting and exceeding the expectations of his customers. Karen Bennett Karen Bennett joined the Darling’s Agency in September 2008. She began her insurance career in Lincoln, Maine for a local independent insurance agency. Karen obtained her insurance license in 1997 and her ACSR certificate in 1999. She strives to provide the very best in customer service and takes pride in the quality of her work. Karen is a native of Maine, born and raised in Lincoln and relocated to the Bangor area in 2004. She resides with her husband Dean and their Pomeranian, Riley and their Pekingese, Dakota. She has a stepson William and a daughter-in-law Jessica who reside in southern Maine.karen.bennett@darlings.com |
